I inherited my friends PM Samantha. She was very good with her toys-in the set with Samantha, I also received the Tea Dress (with all parts including ribbons), the Play Outfit (all parts including ribbons), all parts to the meet outfit, and all parts to the sailor outfit.

I was going through the accessories though, and I guess she got the ribbon set or soemthing, because she had a bunch of socks and ribbons. Anyway, one of the ribbons, the checked one, is completely sealed with a label "made in west Germany". Now, I can't even open it because I feel like I am ruining a part of history.

What 9 to 11 year old takes such good care of her toys???

    What a great find!

What 9 to 11 year old takes such great care of her toys? Me, when I was 11! As a child I was VERY meticulous about keeping all of my things neat and in their original packages...

Probably so...I mean I took care of them, but well...I'd open things! Like this whole ribbon set, the black and the checked one was completely sealed and unused!

I am somewhere around that age range, and I take excellent care of my doll items, most of the time . LOL! I try to take especially good care of my dolls, although Kit (from when I was 7) is quite beat up.

I was very particular with my toys - it drove my parents crazy at the time but they laugh about it now. But I guess I get the last laugh, because I still have most of those toys from the '60s and '70s - and they are worth a pretty penny from Barbie to Matchbox.

I tried so hard to take good care of my Kirsten that I brushed her hair to death! Now it is all frizzy on the ends, but I could never replace her head or wig- she is too precious just the way she is!! She is clean and her limbs are tight though. I was very careful with her accessories and outfits too.

Wow, that really is a great find! Incredible that a kid could take such intricate care of a toy like that... her mother must have been very impressed. Hope you like your new Sam... I bet she's just gorgeous!
